Lani’olu Hale is a private residence centrally located in East Oahu. Lani’olu Hale is a Type I Adult Residential Care Home with Expanded Care licensed by Hawaii State Department of Health. This means we can provide residents with everything from minimal assistance with daily activities to nursing home-level care within the same home, 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. The main entrance for guests and residents is located on the first level. The common areas includes a piano room, a spacious great room which holds the dining room and living room. Our Great Room is perfect for therapeutic activities and social functions. All meals are home-cooked and planned with individual nutrition needs in mind. Every resident has a private room with adjoining private bathroom. Each bedroom suite has a view, its own ambience, and the warmth only a home can provide.

To accommodate and bolster the morale of our residents, varied activities are tailored, and geared specifically for your loved one to have daily success.
Our activities often will be individualized for each resident’s ability.
Staff will often utilize skills used in a resident’s former occupation or draw on past interests. Much activity is centered on basic domestic routines providing an environment of familiarity and accomplishment.

FAQ
The first step is to set an appointment with us to tour our facility, meet our staff, and become familiar with the type of services and care we provide.
If you are interested in our facility, it is important for us to understand the level of care your loved one requires. His or her needs must be evaluated in order to determine applicable monthly rates and eligibility. A security deposit equal to the monthly rate (plus GE tax 4.712%) quoted is required.
Lastly, before the admission process is completed, we require that each resident have a legal representative, i.e. durable power of attorney for medical and financial decisions.
We will do our best to help make this process as comfortable for you and your loved one. This process can take a few days up to a week depending on Physician arrangements.
